Every time I find out about someone that enjoys not thinking rather than thinking it hurts me as much as the first person I'd found out about that prefers such a life.
It's their choice and their right to enjoy such a freedom, but when one begins and continues to read and learn up on the proliferation of a species, and then think about humanity's growth and how our consciousness and intelligent minds add such a different and wholly new factor to such a natural process, one begins to see that if we wish to succeed in becoming greater than we are, the nourishment of our minds must become popular.
Laziness and dull mindedness shouldn't be favored or pursued; the elite institutions continue to favor such a pursuit for fear of losing their position and an attempt to think of a society in which such wonderful people can exist -- people that favor growing their minds -- becomes difficult immediately.
This is one of the things I think about sometimes.
